The Microsoft® IntelliMouse® Optical 1.1 has new optical technology from Microsoft that is
supposed to make it better. Honestly we didn't notice anything that the new technology provided.
That doesn't mean it isn't beneficial or good, we just didn't notice it using this mouse. This mouse feels good
in the hand and is easy to use. I didn't really like the light feel to it. It is a sturdy mouse,
but the light weight made it feel cheap in my hand. This is the reason for a middle of the road rating.
If you do not have an optical mouse however, you
will notice a pleasing difference even with this mouse. But for only a few more dollars, we would recommend
jumping up to the Microsoft® IntelliMouse® Explorer.
Pros:
- It's optical and hence feels smooth to use.
- Is an ambidextrous mouse so lefties can use it too.
Cons:
- Feels light weight and almost cheap if you have used something
with some weight to it.
