Getting Started
The Lexmark Z816 offers one-click installation, followed by a simple
alignment print job. You won’t find a simpler setup anywhere. And the print
cartridge installation was a snap.
Appearance
Lexmark chose the trendy silver-on-black look, just like you’ll find with nearly every
other printer on the market, but it differentiates itself from the competition
with a “Kit”-like red light that paces back and forth during print jobs. The
body and paper trays are light weight and strong.
Features
- Prints up to 22 ppm black and 15 ppm color
- 8.5" x 11" borderless photos as fast as 70 seconds (printed in quickprint mode and
excludes PC processing time); 4" x 6" borderless photos as fast
as 32 seconds (printed in quickprint mode and excludes PC processing time)
- 6-color printing with optional photo cartridge (sold separately) produces professional quality
output
- PrecisionSense™
achieves optimum results with automatic cartridge alignment and paper type
sensing
- Accu-Feed™
Paper-handling system virtually eliminates paper jams
Pros:
- Simple set up and installation
- Extra large paper feed tray
- Verbally says “Printing
started” and “Printing complete” (very unique feature)
Cons:
Adding It All Up
If you’re looking for a simple printing solution for day-to-day print jobs like
receipts, bills, and driving directions, the Lexmark Z816 is for you.
This printer is just right for those who want quick, no nonsense print jobs.
A special thank-you to Lexmark for providing this fine product for review on
