Let me tell you about my former, inconvenient, “wired” life. I drilled a massive
hole in the back of my top desk drawer to send my keyboard and mouse wires
through. I had to get out of my seat to let someone else take a turn typing or
playing at the keyboard. I mindlessly (and uncomfortably) left my keyboard on
its tray and let my wrists strain and stiffen with carpal tunnel. All of that
has changed…
…Thanks to the Logitech Desktop LX 500 wireless keyboard and mouse. Now I’m
free! Free to put the mouse on another shelf if I want. Free to pass the
keyboard over to a friend. Free to open email, start the internet, burn CDs, or
play my music with the touch of an easy-to-reach button, free to scroll pages
from the keyboard, free to scroll left and right with the mouse, free, Free, FREE! Interested in freeing your
desktop computer? Read on.

Getting Started
The setup on the LX 500 is very intuitive – up until the key programming. With your
computer powered down, simply plug the receiver cables into the back of your
computer, move the receiver at least 8 inches away from other electrical
devices, turn on your computer, install your keyboard and mouse batteries (2x
AA each, included), and pop in your tutorial CD – bada bing, bada bang! You’re
ready!
Appearance
The Logitech LX 500 has smooth, fluid design. Its attractive two-texture black
coloring makes it easy on the eye. And although it offers a seemingly endless
array of programmable buttons, its extra large surface area keeps the keyboard
uncluttered. The mouse has a comfortable shape and gracefully slides
effortlessly. I guarantee you’re going to hate all other mice after
experiencing the LX 500.

Without hesitation, I recommend the Logitech LX 500 wireless keyboard and mouse. I

day with this “easy writer” you’ll never go back. I, for one, have happily
tossed out my old stock keyboard and mouse – and their leashes.
