Until the recent boom in the PC gaming industry, mouse pads have never had the spotlight that other
peripherals have had. While mice have made changes in leaps and bounds, the mouse pad has stayed relatively the same
with the majority made out of a foam rubber padding topped with cloth. With this in mind, many companies
have stepped up to give the mouse pad an overhaul. One such company is fUnc Industries with the F-Series
Competition Mousing Surfaces.

Getting Started
To the end user, the mouse pad is an area where you use the mouse. To the gamer, the mousing surface is
an important part of his gaming set up where the quality of the mouse surface can mean the difference
between fragging and being fragged. To help gamers get the most out of their mouse pad, fUnc Industries has
introduced the F10.s and the F30.r mousing surfaces, which are specifically designed for optical mice.
The F-Series Competition Mousing sUrfaces are single-sided, large format mouse pads constructed of high
quality polycarbonate with exceptional and consistent tracking qualities. The mousing surface incorporates
a specially selected, low profile, textured synthetic rubber that exhibits exceptional traction characteristics on a desktop.
The F10.s features a fine texture that is smooth, which is denoted by the “s”. With a fine textured surface,
moving the mouse across is seamless as there is no resistance. Having an extremely large surface area of 17” x 11”,
the F10.s is ideal for those gamers who utilize a mouse with either a low dpi or sensitivity.
Completely opposite in two areas is the F30.r, which provides a rough surface that also is denoted by the “r”.
The surface on the F30.r is medium textured and provides an ever-so-slight touch of resistance for those who prefer
to feel the mousing surface. With a slightly smaller surface area of 14” x 11”, the F30.r is an excellent choice for
those who wish to upgrade, but must also consider the amount of space is available on their desk. Also, the smaller
footprint of the F30.r is a perfect for those gamers who attend LANs who allow a limited amount space for your system setup.

Both the F30.r and F10.s have a non-slip backing that works excellent on any surface top. The mousing surface
can be cleaned with water when those unexpected spills happen and can be even hand washed if the need arises. The
included cord clip helps keep the cord of your wired mouse out of the way and allows you to focus on the task at hand.
While the mousing surfaces of the F10.s and F30.r we sampled are different sizes, fUnc offers either pad in 17” x 11” and
14” x 11” size.
Adding It All Up
In the end, its time to throw away that Dell mouse pad and upgrade with an F-Series Competition Mousing. Whether
you are an average home user, graphics designer, or a hardcore gamer – fUnc has you covered.
