Getting Started
For almost the past year I have been using a Samsung E105 phone. When Samsung offered to
send a few phones to take a look at, I was excited that the E315 was included. These two phones
are almost identical. The keypad has been slightly redesigned with key shapes and positions moved
slightly. The real difference is on the front cover where the E315 includes a camera. Have enjoyed
the E105 I figured the newer E305 would be to my liking as well. I found though that with the addition
of the camera, the phone is just a hair thicker but feels a lot heavier to use. After using this phone
for a week I was anxious to get back to my lighter E105.
I don't want my personal preference between two almost identical phones distract you. The Samsung E315
phone is also an excellent upgrade option. It's almost impossible to buy a mid to upper grade mobile phone
these days without the camera built in. I found that compared to the Motorola menu I enjoyed the Samsung
menus. Could have to do with the fact that I've used it on my personal phone, but there was still a little
higher intuitiveness in the Samsung menu setup and navigation.
