You no doubt have a hodgepodge of controllers, everything from your see-thru MadCatz controller to the mini controller that came free with your Halo 2 game purchase. So who is the king of controllers? It will come as no surprise…

Getting Started

Setup couldn’t be simpler. You install two AA batteries into the controller, plug the receiver into your regular Xbox control slot, and start playing! Honest, it really is that easy. You couldn’t mess this up if you tried.

Appearance

It seems like every time I turn around, Logitech is making my life easier. But this time, they’ve truly outdone themselves. I have yet to see a Logitech device without soft corners, a glossy finish, and overall sleek design. The Cordless Precision Controller is no exception. Not only is the appearance sharp looking, it is also extremely comfortable. I’ve spent a lot of late nights swapping teams (and therefore, controllers), so I've test-driven just about every option out there. And even with all of the extras like glowing LEDs, large or small size, programmable buttons, and even palm fans - nothing competes with Logitech's Precision Controller.

Adding It All Up

You know a new gadget is good when you refuse to go back to your old technology, and that is the case here. I’ll never use a controller leash again as long as I live! Just imagine your life without cords; no bumbling little brothers or sisters yanking your cord out of the Xbox as Sam Fischer takes aim, no more cords hanging down over the screen blocking your view of the Eagle’s Nest, and no more wrapping up your controller cord when you’re finished gaming.

Although it’s rare on UpgradeAdvisor, but Logitech has set the bar with this product – I give the Logitech Cordless Precision Controller for Xbox a perfect 5/5 score and we are awarding the Logitech® Cordless Precision™ Controller for Xbox® the UpgradAdvisor.com Recommended Upgrade Seal of Approval. I just don’t see how they could have made it any better - well, I suppose it could come with a soda holder and chip tray ;)

A special thank-you to Logitech for providing this product for review on UpgradeAdvisor.com.
