Getting Started

Nothing to it! Just plug in the Cyber Power unit and treat it just like a regular power strip. It is about 6x larger than a traditional power strip, so make room. And it’s MUCH heavier: a whopping 14 pounds of hardware! I hope you’re not planning to haul this bad boy to the next LAN event.

Here is an important note: only three of the six outlets are backed up by the battery. So save the other three outlets for your speakers, printer, or other unimportant peripherals that won’t lose important information in the event of an electrical failure.

What can I say—it’s a power strip on steroids! The hard-plastic case is beige in color with six upward-facing outlets and a power light.

Adding It All Up

Worried about surges, spikes, sags, brownouts and other power abnormalities? The Cyber Power 625AVR should be on your list—especially with all of the extreme weather we’re seeing this year! All in all, I can definitely recommend this product over a traditional power strip.
